Rice Cereal

Apparently now that I am 5 months old I am suppose to eat something called rice cereal. For those of you that have never had rice cereal it is NOT good!! At least I did not think it was good the first three nights Mommy and Daddy tried to feed it to me. On night 4 I loved the stuff!!

I am not sure why, but when I eat rice cereal, Daddy stands behind Mommy jumping up and down making airplane noises ... do they think that is appetizing??
Mommy stands in front of me singing a song about rice cereal ... again not the most pleasant experience.
Can't I just eat in peace and quiet??

Happy 5 Month Birthday Mason

Mason turned 5 months old on Saturday, January 24th!

Mike and I tried to measure and weigh him ourselves ... quite an experience ... it looks as though Mason is about 27 inches long and weighs about 16 pounds. His 3-6 months clothes are a little short for our tall boy, so it is on to 6-9 months ... not so much for his waist, but for his length! Mason is still as happy as can be and such a joy in our lives!

Mason at 4 Months

Mason is almost 5 months old now! Mike and I are having so much fun with him. Mason loves to go on walks, play with his toys, and watch Baby Einstein! He is rolling over and making all sorts of new noises. Mason is also a big flirt, especially with his Aunt D! He loves to be standing up and is not so much of a fan of tummy time. Mason has been teething for the last month or so, but we have yet to see any pearly whites. Here are some great pictures I have taken over Mason's fourth month.

Spangler Family Christmas

We went to Oklahoma just before the holidays to celebrate our Spangler Family Christmas. Mason was able to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Spangler as well as his cousins, aunts, and uncles. We had so much fun watching the kiddos play!
